“ My good fortune as a makeup artist is that tonight the newlyweds treated us to a buffet at the Regal Kowloon Hotel in Sha Tin. The ambiance was nice; one seat overlooked the river, and both the seating and the buffet area were spacious. Let's talk about the buffet: The seafood included shrimp, king crab legs, clams, snails, and mussels—all very fresh. The shrimp were firm and juicy, while the crab legs were a bit salty. The sashimi included salmon, tuna, sweet shrimp, herring, and sea bream. There were also various kinds of sushi. There were also other cold dishes, hot dishes, and dim sum… a complete selection. Among the hot dishes, the ginger and scallion lobster claws were incredibly flavorful; I had several rounds! The staff rang a bell to signal the cheesy lobster was ready, and the chef brought out a whole plate of lobster—hot, cheesy, and mouthwatering. We each ordered a lobster. Eating it while it was hot gave it a slightly stretchy cheese pull. The lobster meat was sweet and fresh, and it's one of the hotel's signature dishes. Other dishes included: Baked Oysters with Cheese (double flavor), Korean Fried Chicken, Roasted Lamb Rack, and USDA Premium Sirloin. Suddenly, a group of people rushed forward. It turned out to be the hotel's signature Flaming Snow Mountain Cake. The chef lit a fire on the spot, setting the cake ablaze. Afterward, staff arranged for each guest to receive one. The sponge cake sandwiched a vanilla ice cream filling—a perfect combination. It wasn't too greasy, and I wanted to have more. The desserts were exquisitely beautiful, with a wide variety! The hotel buffet offered several flavors of CoCo Berry ice cream, and of course, MÖVENPICK ice cream as well. ”

“ [Half-Price Hotel Buffet] Recently, some relatives returned from abroad, and we decided to have a buffet at a hotel for eight people. After searching around, we found that the hotel was offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal, making it only $351 per person on Sunday night – a great deal! The buffet started at 6 pm. Of course, we started with the frozen seafood sector, and the most popular item was the crab legs in the center! Every leg was bursting with the flavor of the sea, and I was very pleased that the hotel replenished them quickly. We kept getting more after we were almost done eating, and every time we left, we saw crab legs still being carried away. In addition, the hotel even had tuna sashimi! The salmon was plump and thick, and I couldn't resist having two rounds! The most important thing about a buffet is the variety! The restaurant already had a lot of choices just from frozen slices and salads, including different types of ham and a large platter of smoked salmon. There's a good selection of cooked dishes, and the menu changes frequently. My favorite is the roasted lamb chops! The lamb chops aren't too fatty, and they're roasted to perfection, with tender, juicy meat that doesn't rotten at all. As a carnivore, I certainly wouldn't miss out on any piece of meat! The roasted beef is cut to order; it's not too fatty, and the beef flavor is rich, perfect with gravy. In addition, the restaurant offers a variety of cooked seafood options. Besides the popular steamed fish, they also have Tom Yum seafood. The restaurant also offers an all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet, something you don't usually find in hotel buffets! There are two soup bases to choose from: herbal chicken and clear broth. It's perfect for the whole family to enjoy a delicious and harmonious meal together. The basic hot pot ingredients are all there, except for seafood, but I still added a few crab legs. Desserts are for another stomach, so of course, don't let it get hungry! Besides a variety of lovely mini cakes, the restaurant also offers hot dishes such as bread pudding, Chinese-style tofu pudding, purple rice pudding, and Portuguese egg tarts, as well as MÖVENPICK ice cream cups, sure to satisfy the taste buds of the whole family. The restaurant boasts a wide selection of food and a spacious environment, making it a perfect spot for a weekend family buffet followed by a stroll around Sha Tin. ”
